Perlage, the historical organic winery in Farra di Soligo, Veneto, Italy,surprises once again! After the success achieved with the Prosecco 3D, it now approaches the  young wine lovers with a new Spumante Extra Dry, PerlApp, which promotes the sustainability and tells about the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Land in a Iphone App!

Farra di Soligo,  June 2012 - What Perlage wants to promote is very easy:  the plain has two dimensions, width and length and here is where the Prosecco Doc is produced, while the hill has three dimensions, width, length and height and here is where the Prosecco Superior Docg is produced. The third dimension (height) allows the vineyard hill to absorb more rays of sunlight, that guarantees the best quality of the grapes.

Thanks to this Perlage produces the Prosecco 3D, which means three dimensions. The company, organic  certified for more than 25 years and all around the world known for its first organic Prosecco of Valdobbiadene Docg, presents now the new Spumante Extra Dry PerlApp, produced with Glera and Incrocio Manzoni grapes. An innovative wine, created for young people: not only for its low alcoholic content (10,5% vol.), but also allows for the direct connection with the Perlage world through the Iphone and Android App! The App is downloadable by the Qr-Code placed on the sleeve (the new label that covers the whole bottle) that contains detailed informations about Venetian territory, events, restaurants and places to visit in the area.

The free App, available at the Apple and Android store, is divided into 4 sections: “Organic”, which contains informations about the eco-friendly philosophy of Perlage since almost 30 years ; “Eno News”, with famous recipes realized with products typical of the area, and the section “Perlage” that visualizes informations about wines, including specifications and tasting notes. The last section “Territory” provides information about our beautiful landscape, where to eat and where to sleep when you are around, what to do; a special focus on Treviso and Venice and an easy way to find everything following Google Maps. A sip of the area just in one click, a useful tool that represents not only a form of traceability but also a way to have fun discovering the land.

The new extra dry Spumante PerlApp, organic, is packed in an extremely light bottle (only 550g), with the   “ Remove Here” sign  so the people can separate the sleeve ( a new kind of label that covers and decorates the whole surface of the bottle) from the glass in order to help the separation of the rubbish.

PerlApp is a Spumante with a straw-yellow color and green reflexions, fruity, with mature apple and white flowers perfumes. Smooth, soft and harmonic to the palate, it’s the ideal accompaniment for the moments of aggregation, so loved among the new generation.
